Hospice East Bay is seeking an LVN for Bruns House in Alamo, CA. This full-time, 32-hour/week position on a NOC shift offers hourly pay of $38.00–$44.00 and tailors care for terminally ill patients in the home or facility setting.

The LVN provides direct nursing care under RN supervision, coordinates with the interdisciplinary team, and supports families. Admission duties, documentation, and after-hours coverage are included.

Qualifications

• Current, active LVN license required; must be verified by the CA Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.
• At least one year nursing experience as LVN required; experience with end-of-life care desirable.
• Current CA Driver’s License and car in good working condition.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provide hospice care to terminally ill patients in home or facility settings.
• Support patient and family; maintain communication with care team.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation; participate in team meetings.
• Coordinate patient/family needs across home care, LTC, admissions, and after-hours programs.
• Attend nursing staff meetings and participate in quality improvement activities.
