• Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Knowledge of nursing theory and practice from an accredited school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering data to assess physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of patients.
• Collaborate with the RN and interdisciplinary team to plan patient care on admission.
• Provide direct patient care using nursing skills and judgement.
• Educate patients and families and document outcomes in the medical record.
