Job summary

Regional Hospice seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Lebanon, MO team. The role focuses on compassionate, hands-on patient care, symptom management, and family support in a hospice setting, with emphasis on education for patients and caregivers.

The successful candidate must hold an Missouri LPN license, live within commuting distance, and be prepared for mileage reimbursement and full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with Missouri license.
• Willingness to train on hospice regulations and charting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the patient, family and caregiver in coping with issues related to death and dying.
• Perform head-to-toe assessment and vital sign check on all assigned patients for the day.
• Occasionally provide personal care, bathing, dressing, etc to the patient.
• Communicate effectively with all hospice staff and provide all support as needed.
• Provide nursing care, symptom management, and emotional support to the patient, family, and caregivers.
• Provide education to the patient, family, and caregivers.

Job description

We are a well-established hospice company looking to add to our team. Regional Hospice has 3 offices covering the southwest corner of Missouri---Lebanon, Springfield, and Joplin.

We are currently looking for experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team in Lebanon, MO.

Qualifications

• Assist the patient, family and caregiver in coping with issues related to death and dying.

The successful candidate must be currently licensed in the State of Missouri as an LPN and live within a commutable distance to the office.

Reliable transportation and car insurance required.

Hourly rate and mileage reimbursement provided. Benefits available for Full Time.

Documentation per electronic medical record, mileage computation per phone app.

Experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person! We can teach you hospice regulations, medications, and charting. We are looking for nurses who know how to love and provide hands‑on care to patients facing a terminal illness.
