Wentworth Hospice, Amedisys is seeking a dedicated LNA/CNA Hospice Aide to provide compassionate personal care to patients in their homes. You will follow the plan of care, assist with activities of daily living, meals, and light housekeeping while reporting changes to the nurse.

The position offers pay between $25.00 and $27.00 per hour, with benefits and potential growth within a large home health provider.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current state certification as a nurse assistant.
• CNA experience within the last two years.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Mansioni

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics to personal care tasks.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Performs homemaking and other environmental services.
• Observes, reports, and documents changes in patient status.
• Follows written instructions for personal care from a registered nurse.
• Assists patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by a nurse or therapist.
• Performs and records simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin.
• Other duties as assigned.
