Job summary

ProCare Hospice is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide direct, compassionate care to terminally ill patients in a Nevada setting. The CNA will follow an interdisciplinary plan of care, document at bedside, and report changes to the RN.

Responsibilities include basic nursing tasks, personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship, while upholding patient dignity and confidentiality. The role supports family education and team collaboration, with opportunities to contribute to quality

Qualifications

• Must be currently certified as a Certified Nurse Aide by the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Prefer 1 year experience in hospice, home health, or geriatric care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care following the interdisciplinary plan of care.
• Foster effective relationships with coworkers, patients and family members.
• Document accurately at bedside and report changes to the RN.
• Assist with orientation and training of new CNA staff.
• Ensure safety and proper body mechanics in all tasks.
• Perform basic housekeeping tasks and meal preparation as assigned.
• Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
