Job summary

Procare-Hospice-of-Nevad is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to deliver direct patient care in a hospice setting in Las Vegas, under supervision of a registered nurse. The CNA will follow the interdisciplinary plan of care and assist with basic personal and homemaking tasks while documenting care at the bedside.

The candidate should have NV CNA certification, CPR/First Aid, and prefer 1 year of hospice or geriatric care. Strong English communication and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Must be CN A in NV with active certification.
• Prefer 1 year hospice/home health/geriatric care experience.
• Must possess CPR/First Aid certification.
• Must read/speak/write English well.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to terminally ill patients per plan of care.
• Follow interdisciplinary team directions and report changes to RN.
• Perform personal care tasks and light housekeeping as assigned.
• Record accurate bedside documentation in a timely manner.
• Assist with patient orientation and trainee education.
