Job summary
McLeod Health in Florence, SC is hiring a Registered Nurse for Hospice Homecare in Florence County. This on-site role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and requires SC RN licensure, 1 year of nursing experience, and BLS certification. You will manage a care plan, coordinate interdisciplinary teams, and participate in 24/7 on-call coverage.
The nurse will conduct assessments, develop care plans, and ensure compliance with policies while supporting patients and families in home settings.
Qualifications
- Active patient contact within the past year.
- At least one year of nursing experience; refresher may apply.
- Current SC RN license and BLS certification.
- Valid SC driver’s license and auto insurance as required by law.
Responsibilities
- Perform standard of care assessments and home visits as needed.
- Develop and implement a plan of care with interdisciplinary team.
- Coordinate hospice care and team communications.
- Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 RN availability.
- Complete documentation per policy and maintain electronic records.
- Engage in continuing education (min. 20 hours annually).
