Job summary

Sholom is seeking a Home Health Aide to support terminally ill patients in their homes, assisting with personal care and activities of daily living. The role focuses on comfort and quality of life aligned with each patient’s health status.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, HHA certification, CPR, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; six months of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Home Health Aide certification and/or competency testing required.
• Six months experience as a Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with good driving record, and proof of valid insurance. Must have reliable transportation.
• CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists terminally ill patients with personal care requirements and daily living activities.
• Aims to maximize comfort and quality of life in the home setting consistent with health status.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent
