Job summary

Legacy Lifecare VNA and Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice Home Health Aide (CNA) in Massachusetts. The PRN position offers a $20–$25/hour base, with pay based on experience, and a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule.

You will provide compassionate personal care, monitor patient condition, assist with home environment, and support families. Requirements include MA CNA certification and at least 1 year of CNA experience; a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to

Qualifications

• Current, active MA CNA certification.
• Minimum 1-year CNA experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to patient homes or hospice facilities.
• Prior experience in home-care, hospice, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to hospice patients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Monitor and report changes in patients' physical condition, comfort, behavior, and needs to the hospice nurse or care team.
• Assist with maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment for patients and their families.
• Offer emotional support and companionship while respecting patient dignity, preferences, and end-of-life care goals.
