Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in hospital, extended care facility, home care, or hospice setting preferred.
• Certification within Delaware as a Nurse Aide or completion of 75-hour training with competency testing required.
• Nursing students with one academic year including direct patient care may be considered if certification requirements are fulfilled.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care within CNA scope following policies and federal/state regulations.
• Assist patients at home with personal care and light household tasks; support family members and primary caregivers under RN guidance.
• Contribute to a collaborative hospice team to enhance patient comfort, dignity, and well-being.
