Job summary

Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time night shift (11pm-7am) including every other weekend. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care, assist with activities of daily living, and support families under the direction of the RN.

Two years of relevant care experience and Delaware CNA certification or completion of a 75-hour training with competency testing are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in hospital, extended care facility, home care, or hospice setting preferred.
  • Delaware Nurse Aide certification or completion of a 75-hour training course with required competency testing.
  • Sympathetic attitude toward care of the dying patient.

Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered care within CNA scope, adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Assist with personal care and light household services while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with the RN to deliver quality care and support for patients and families.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment and uphold infection control standards.
