Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Hospice Liaison to lead outside sales efforts across Lauderdale County, AL. This role focuses on educating health care professionals and facilities about home health and hospice services, building referral networks, and coordinating admissions with clinical teams.

The position requires travel ~50%+ within the territory; a base salary of $75,000–$80,000 with monthly incentives is offered, plus comprehensive benefits and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of healthcare-related business development/outreach experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation, current driver’s license, and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Educates health care professionals, patients, and families about home care services.
• Develops and maintains relationships with key referral sources to generate leads.
• Coordinates patient admissions with the team and secures required documentation.
• Conducts on-site visits to assess patient needs and identify barriers to care.
• Keeps accurate records of patient interactions and referrals in CRM.
• Meets admissions, product, and payor-mix goals and daily call targets.
