Job summary

Adoration Health in Birmingham, AL seeks an Executive Director to lead our hospice program. You will oversee daily operations, budgeting, staffing, and adherence to healthcare standards, while guiding a compassionate care team through the patient and family journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 2–5 years experience in health care management or equivalent.
• Demonstrates ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
• Understanding of hospice care services and Medicare Hospice Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations: budgeting, planning, staffing, and compliance with healthcare standards.
• Ensure high-quality care with ethical practices and compassionate patient service.
• Support and develop staff through training, supervision, and development.
• Foster team-based care across interdisciplinary teams (nurses, physicians, social workers, chaplains).
• Drive organizational excellence by monitoring services, finances, and patient outcomes, identifying improvements.
• Build strong partnerships with departments, community partners, vendors, and leadership for seamless service delivery.
