Job summary

Springhill Hospice in Mobile, AL seeks an experienced Executive Director to lead daily operations, oversee budgeting, planning, staffing, and regulatory compliance for a compassionate hospice program.

You will promote high‑quality patient care, support staff development, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration across nurses, physicians, social workers and chaplains while building strong community partnerships and guiding strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration; Master's in healthcare preferred.
• 2–5 years in healthcare management.
• Ability to supervise professional and administrative staff.
• Knowledge of Medicare Hospice Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations: budgeting, planning, staffing and compliance.
• Ensure high-quality, compassionate patient care.
• Support and develop staff through supervision and training.
• Foster team-based care across interdisciplinary groups.
• Drive organizational excellence: monitor finances and outcomes.
• Build strong partnerships with departments, partners and leadership.
