Heartland Hospice is seeking an RN Executive Director to provide strategic leadership for a hospice location with developing census. You will direct inter-disciplinary teams, ensure high-quality patient-centered care, and align operations with regulatory standards and company mission.

The role emphasizes financial stewardship, staff development, and community relations, with a focus on compassionate leadership and continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• RN license is required in the state of employment.
• Minimum 1 year management/supervisory experience in hospice/home care.
• Strong understanding of hospice regulations and Medicare conditions of participation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides hands-on leadership for a hospice program with growth opportunities and accountable for clinical quality.
• Oversees daily operations, directs interdisciplinary teams, and ensures patient-centered care.
• Promotes compliance with accrediting and licensing standards and policy adherence.
• Manages human resources, performance evaluations, and staff development.
• Leads financial oversight, budgeting, and contract/service management.
