Halcyon Home LLC Tomball, TX is seeking a compassionate RN to serve as Hospice Director of Nursing (DON). You will lead clinical departments, supervise nurses and aides, ensure quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and staffing efficiency while supporting our geriatric hospice population.

The role requires a BSN, Texas RN license, and hospice leadership experience; MSN is preferred. We offer generous PTO (5 weeks) and holidays, plus strong team support and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
Current Texas RN license or licensure per Board requirements.
Minimum 2 years of nursing with 1 year in hospice or palliative care leadership.
Strong knowledge of hospice regulations and standards.
Home Care Home Base experience strongly preferred.
Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Reliable transportation with valid auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

As the Hospice RN, Director of Nursing (DON), you will oversee clinical departments and staffing.
Lead a team of nurses and caregivers to deliver exceptional patient care.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and the Plan of Care.
Monitor quality, safety, and productivity across the hospice services.
Participate in QAPI activities and professional development.
