Job summary

PruittHealth Hospice is seeking a Director of Nursing (RN) to lead our hospice care team. This role focuses on coordinating hospice services, supervising interdisciplinary staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance to deliver compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care.

Ideal candidates bring active RN licensure, 1+ year of hospice and leadership experience, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to our mission of compassionate care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice.
• 1+ years of field hospice experience.
• 1+ years of leadership experience (preferred).
• Strong clinical skills and understanding of Hospice and Palliative Care.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate hospice services for patients and families.
• Supervise interdisciplinary team members (nurses, social workers, chaplains, etc.).
• Oversee admissions, care planning, and compliance with state/federal regulations.
• Ensure quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a clinical and community liaison for hospice education and outreach.
