Job summary

Outfield-Healthcare-Partners is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (RN) for hospice care at a single site with potential for growth. The role oversees RNCMs, HHA, Chaplain, MSW, and more, ensuring high-quality patient care in patients' residences.

The successful candidate will manage clinical departments, monitor staffing and productivity, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and drive QA/PI initiatives in compliance with regulations. Hospice leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• State licensed as a Registered Nurse or in accordance with the Board of Nurse Examiners rules for Nurse Licensure Compact (NCL), current State Driver’s License
• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates clinical departments and sites, ensures continuity, quality, and safety of services delivered in compliance with State and Federal regulations
• Promotes the philosophy and administrative policies of the Agency to ensure quality of patient care
• Supervises and provides direction to subordinates to ensure quality, compliance with Plan of Care, assessment and reassessment of patient needs
• Monitors QA/PI Program and implements corrective measures
• Promotes compliance with fiscal intermediaries and third party payors through education and coaching
• Member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) and assists in IDT plan development
• Meets mandatory continuing education requirements
• Promotes infection control and standardized precautions in patient care
• Uses effective interpersonal relations to achieve desirable outcomes
• Ability to travel to sites for patient care; PRN emergency call
• Must be available at all times in person or via telecommunications
