Job summary

Affinity Health Management seeks a Community Liaison to lead marketing initiatives, build relationships with customers and referral sources, and represent the organization at community events in Des Moines and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• At least three years’ experience in health care marketing management preferably in hospice care operations.
• Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
• Demonstrates good communications skills, negotiation skills, and public relations skills.
• Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Conducts daily marketing activities with the Administrator to establish and implement marketing initiatives.
• Monitors allocation of resources according to budgetary limitations.
• Continuously conducts market assessments and develops a marketing plan to meet budget projections.
• Employs marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budget projections.
• Establishes and maintains positive relationships with referral and payer sources.
• Builds and monitors perceptions of Continuum Care Hospice, LLC as a high‑quality provider of services.
• Contributes to strategic planning by identifying opportunities for services to address customer needs.
• Maintains knowledge of markets, government agencies, and key referral sources.
• Keeps staff informed about marketing developments and industry resources.
• Assists customers in accessing community resources when services are not provided.
• Monitors and reports cost effectiveness of marketing efforts.
