Qualifications

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, the public, Governing Body, Advisory Board, and Medical Director.
  • Graduate of an accredited college/university is preferred.
  • Experience in the health care field.

Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison between the Hospice and the community regarding needs.
  • Develop and promote hospice programs and services, while maximizing resources.
  • Provide counsel on community needs; program development including personnel and financial needs.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Group/Team to support safe patient/family care.
  • Establish a public relations program for interpreting Hospice services and foster relations with physicians and community agencies.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the Governing Body.
