Job summary

Journey Hospice in New Jersey is hiring a full-time Community Liaison based in West Caldwell to promote the organization to the community, hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. The role supports the Marketing Department, represents Journey Hospice locally, serves as a patient advocate, and helps maintain a healthy census in skilled nursing communities.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a related field; RN or LPN preferred; valid driver’s license; and prior

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field; RN or LPN from an accredited school.
Sales experience in a healthcare setting.
Valid PA Driver's License

Responsibilities

Promotes Journey Hospice to the community, hospitals, medical centers, physicians, case managers, social workers and other healthcare professionals to maintain a healthy census in the skilled nursing community.
Assists the Marketing Department in promoting Journey Hospice to the community to the local area through participation on local boards, community groups, neighborhood block associations, and other organizations.
Represents Journey Hospice in local organizations.
Serves as patient advocate when residents are hospitalized.
