Job summary

Journey Hospice in West Caldwell, NJ is seeking a full-time Community Liaison to promote hospice services to hospitals, physicians, case managers, social workers and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a healthy census in skilled nursing communities.

The role supports the Marketing Department, represents Journey Hospice in local organizations, and acts as a patient advocate when residents are hospitalized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; RN or LPN from an accredited school.
• Valid PA driver's license.
• Sales experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Promotes Journey Hospice to the community, local hospitals, medical centers, physicians, case managers, social workers and other healthcare professionals to maintain a healthy census in skilled nursing communities.
• Assists the Marketing Department in promoting Journey Hospice to the local area through participation on local boards, community groups, neighborhood associations and other organizations.
• Represents Journey Hospice in local organizations.
• Serves as patient advocate when residents are hospitalized.

As we grow and expand our Hospice program, we are looking for a full-time Community Liaison! This position would be based in the West Caldwell, NJ. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and robust benefits

The Clinical Liaison promotes Journey Hospice to the community, local hospitals, medical centers, physicians, case managers, social workers and other healthcare professionals to maintain a healthy census in the skilled nursing community.

Assists the Marketing Department in promoting Journey Hospice to the community to the local area through participation on local boards, community groups, neighborhood block associations, and other organizations.

Represents Journey Hospice in local organizations.

Serves as patient advocate when residents are hospitalized.

Education/Training/Certifications:

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in a related field; RN or LPN from an accredited school.

Valid PA Drivers License

Experience:

Sales experience in a healthcare setting.
