Job summary

Abide Hospice Care is seeking a Hospice Liaison to build and maintain meaningful professional relationships with referral sources, healthcare providers, facilities, patients, and families in the Portland, Oregon market.

You will partner with our clinical team to ensure patients and families receive compassionate, high-quality care, and you will open doors with warmth—showing that hospice can be both clinically excellent and deeply human.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in hospice, home health, or healthcare as a marketer/sales/liaison building referral relationships.
• Strong ability to connect, educate, and inspire trust with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships with referral sources within the Portland market.
• Promote Abide Hospice's message through presence and collaboration, not sales pitches.
• Collaborate with clinical team to ensure aligned, compassionate care for patients and families.
• Engage with physicians, social workers, caregivers, and community leaders to grow referrals.

• Build trusting professional relationships with referral sources within the Portland OR market place
• Embody the Abide Hospice way of caring, present a new hospice message to our referral sources...build trust not by persuasion, but by presence.
• Open doors with warmth, not with pitch. Show referral partners and families that hospice can be both clinically excellent and deeply human.
• Collaborate closely with our clinical team to ensure our patients, their families, and our referral sources receive the touch of care they desire.

You Bring

• 1-3 years of experience in hospice, home health, or healthcare as a marketer/sales/liaison of building referral relationships.
• A natural ability to connect, educate, and inspire trust.
• Your steady presence...Comfortable in hospitals, clinics, and living rooms alike.
• You are comfortable speaking with physicians, social workers, caregivers, families, community leaders, and referral partners.
• You are organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a growing organization.
• Most importantly, you understand that healthcare is ultimately about people.
