Job summary

Altus Hospice is seeking a self-driven Community Liaison to join our team serving the Waco area. You will build trusted relationships with referral sources, physicians, and healthcare partners to increase census and promote our hospice services.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm in the Waco territory. A BA/BS is preferred with at least two years of healthcare sales experience; hospice marketing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of sales/marketing experience in healthcare.
• Hospice/palliative marketing experience strongly preferred.
• Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation and valid license.

Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including physicians and healthcare partners.
• Serve as an advocate for our hospice services with regular outreach.
• Grow presence by positioning Altus Hospice as the provider of choice in the service area.
• Drive referral growth through visits with referring physicians, discharge planners, SNFs, social workers, and other professionals.
• Lead initial conversations about hospice care, explaining services and philosophy with empathy.
