Job summary

Interim HealthCare is hiring a Hospice CNA for the Madison area. The role focuses on compassionate, one-on-one care for clients with limited life expectancy. You will work daytime shifts, with a strong emphasis on maintaining patient dignity and comfort in their home environment.

Requirements include a Wisconsin CNA certification, CPR certification, and a High School diploma. Mileage reimbursement and PTO are offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have High school diploma or equivalent and active Wisconsin CNA certification.
• CPR certification is required.
• Compassionate nature and ability to communicate well with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Care for seniors and those with an illness, injury or chronic disease with six months or less to live.
• Assist with daily activities (bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, nutrition).
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion.
• Check vitals, document changes, and monitor glucose.
