Job summary

Atrium Health Heyman Hospice Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, direct patient care across homes and facilities in the Rome, GA service area. You will work under a licensed nurse, ensuring comfort, safety, and a clean environment while supporting a family-centered approach.

The role requires GA CNA certification, a valid BLS card, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program (or equivalent).
• Active CNA certification in the state of Georgia.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care support under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist with daily activities and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment.
• Support a family-centered approach to patient care.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assist in meeting the needs of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
