Adoration Health in Dalton, GA is seeking a compassionate Hospice CNA to provide dignified, patient-centered care in the home setting. You will support patients and families during a critical time, performing personal care tasks and monitoring health status under state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must meet the state training requirements.
• Minimum six months of personal care experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Complete 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training (16 hours prereq).
• Maintain current CPR certification where required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.
• Understand hospice philosophy and provide terminally ill care.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Ability to handle death and dying.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 personal care (bathing, dressing, mobility, etc.).
• Monitor and report changes in patient's condition.
• Assist with mobility and safe equipment use.
• Medication assistance per state regulations.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families.
• Light housekeeping and meal assistance.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with hospice interdisciplinary team.
