Job summary

Atrium Health Heyman Hospice Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, direct patient care across homes and facilities in the Rome, GA service area. You will work under a licensed nurse, ensuring comfort, safety, and a clean environment while supporting a family-centered approach.

The role requires GA CNA certification, a valid BLS card, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program (or equivalent).
• Active CNA certification in the state of Georgia.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Heyman Hospice Care

Location:

Travel throughout the Rome, GA service area and surrounding counties, Floyd, Chattooga, Bartow and Polk (Mileage reimbursed at the current IRS standard rate)

Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8a-5p, no weekends or holidays. Hours may occasionally extend later based on patient needs and visit schedules. Travel throughout the Rome, GA service area to provide compassionate care to patients in their homes and facility settings.
