Job summary

Bristol Hospice Fresno is seeking experienced CNAs and HHAs to join our Sweet Dreams program in a compassionate home health setting. The role involves providing bedside care, personal hygiene, and comfort measures to hospice patients under RN supervision.

Qualified candidates have CNA/HHA certification per state regulations, a minimum of 1 year relevant experience, and a willingness to undergo background checks and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Certification as CNA or HHA per state regulations
• Minimum 1 year experience in hospice, home health, or medical/surgical care preferred
• Completion of at least 75 hours of classroom and supervised training
• Licensed driver with insured vehicle in good working order
• Willingness to undergo criminal background check and maintain CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care including hygiene, back rubs, oral hygiene, and linen changes
• Assist with bedtime routines and personal care
• Provide aroma therapy and gentle touch
• Record vital signs and report changes to Case Manager
• Assist with ambulation and daily activities
• Maintain a clean and safe patient living area
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team
• Adhere to care procedures and documentation standards
• Participate in quality improvement activities
• Provide respite for family/caregiver when on-site
