Anodyne Palliative Services is a Chicago-based hospice provider dedicated to compassionate end-of-life care. We are seeking a caring CNA to support patients in homes or facilities with daily living activities and comfort, ensuring dignity and respect.

The role involves monitoring vitals, assisting with medications, documenting care, and maintaining a safe environment. In-person work, driver’s license required, with flexible/full/part-time options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program or equivalent training.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation systems.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic towards patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to hospice patients in their homes or healthcare facilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
• Assist with medication reminders and administration.
• Document patient care activities and observations in medical records.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
