Job summary

Anodyne Palliative Services in Joliet, IL, is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our in-home hospice team. You will provide personal care, assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, document care in medical records, and support patients and families with dignity and respect.

Requirements include a high school diploma and completion of a CNA program, valid Driver's License, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Duties

• Provide personal care and assistance to hospice patients in their homes or healthcare facilities
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Assist with medication reminders and administration
• Document patient care activities and observations in medical records
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program or equivalent training
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation systems
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic towards patients and their families
