Anodyne Palliative Services in Chicago is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide in-home and facility-based hospice care.

The role supports daily living activities, monitors patient status, administers medication reminders, and documents care accurately. A high school diploma and CNA certification are required, with a strong emphasis on empathy and teamwork; drive and license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program or equivalent training.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation systems.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic toward patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to hospice patients in homes or facilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Monitor and record vital signs and observations.
• Assist with medication reminders and administration.
• Document patient care activities and observations in medical records.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Duties
