Job summary

Tidewell Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a caring CNA to join our team in Sarasota and Manatee County on a PRN basis. Shifts are 8 hours (days) with a requirement of 64 hours per month, performing patient care under supervision and contributing to our Full Life Care approach.

The role emphasizes compassionate, confidential bedside care and coordination with nursing staff, in a not-for-profit network focused on dignity and support for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA license).
• One to Three Years of training and/or experience preferred; long-term care experience favored.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care/home maintenance activities per written assignment (Hospice Aide Plan of Care).
• Recognizes and reports unusual conditions or behaviors to nurse or supervisor.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and works within the Hospice Aide scope of practice.
