Gentiva is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide/CNA to deliver hands-on personal care and emotional support in patients’ homes, assisted living facilities, or inpatient units. The role emphasizes dignity, comfort, and family-centered care in life’s meaningful moments.

The position requires an active CNA license, CPR, a valid driver’s license, and at least six months of direct patient care experience while working in home health, hospice, or long-term care settings.

Qualificações

• Active CNA license in the state of employment.
• Current CPR certification.
• Driver’s license with reliable vehicle and insurance.
• Six months of direct patient care experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct personal care to terminally ill patients.
• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting.
• Support safe mobility using walkers and wheelchairs.
• Help with meals and light housekeeping.
• Document visits accurately and timely.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families.
• Attend team meetings and participate in QI activities.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
