Job summary

Advantage Home Health and Hospice in State College, PA is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice care team. This full-time role focuses on delivering compassionate in-home care, ensuring comfort and dignity for patients and support for families.

Requirements include CNA certification, valid driver's license and auto insurance, and strong empathy, communication, and teamwork skills. Prior hospice experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Valid Driver's license and state required Auto Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, pain management, and symptom control.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary hospice team.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure a peaceful and comfortable environment for patients.
• Act as an advocate for patients and their families.
