Job summary

Advantage Home Health and Hospice in Pottsville, PA seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice care team. You will provide compassionate in-home care, support patients and families, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary hospice team.

Full-time position offering growth opportunities, competitive compensation, and a robust benefits package. Prior hospice experience is a plus and driving is required for home visits.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Valid driver's license and state-required Auto Insurance.
• Empathy and compassion for patients and families.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to provide physical and emotional comfort to those in need.
• Collaboration with hospice care team.
• Understanding of end-of-life care principles; hospice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver empathetic and compassionate care to patients in homes or facilities.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, pain management and symptom control.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary hospice team.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure a peaceful and comfortable environment for patients.
• Act as an advocate for patients and families.
