Avanta Care Home Care - Atlanta is seeking a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide personal care, companionship, and emotional support to patients under the direction of an RN or LPN, promoting dignity and comfort in end-of-life care.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, mobility, light housekeeping and meal assistance, observing patient changes, maintaining visit notes, and communicating with the care team to ensure compassionate, consistent care.

Formación

• Current Georgia CNA certification.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in hospice, home health, or long-term care.
• Genuine empathy and respect for patients and families.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing).
• Support mobility, transfers, and positioning for comfort and safety.
• Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance as directed.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition or mood.
• Offer compassionate presence and companionship to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate visit notes and communicate effectively with care team.
