Job summary

AdvisaCare is seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants to provide compassionate, in-home hospice care for clients served by our Grand Rapids location. This per diem role offers flexibility with the potential to move to full-time for the right candidate.

Requirements include Michigan CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation for travel within AdvisaCare’s service area. Hospice experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• State of Michigan CNA certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; travel within AdvisaCare service area.
• Hospice experience preferred but not required.
• Drug screen will be administered prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services to hospice clients.
• Travel across AdvisaCare service area (Barry and surrounding counties).
• Build meaningful relationships and foster a healing environment in the home health setting.
