Job summary

Tidewell Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a caring and motivated CNA to support patients in Sarasota and Manatee County on a PRN basis. Shifts are 8 hours (days) with a commitment of 64 hours per month, delivering compassionate, dignified care under the Hospice Aide Plan of Care.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).
• One to Three Years of training and/or experience; long term care preferred.
• Shifts are 8 hours (Days); commit to 64 hours per month.
• Valid Florida State Driver’s License if driving to other facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care/home maintenance per Hospice Aide Plan of Care.
• Recognizes and reports unusual conditions or behavior to the nurse or supervisor.
• Maintains confidentiality and upholds dignity of patients and families.
• Works within Hospice Aide scope of practice at all times.
