Job summary

Tidewell Hospice, part of Empath Health, is seeking a caring CNA to serve the Venice/Sarasota area in Southwest Florida on weekdays 8a-5p. You will perform personal care tasks, follow the Hospice Aide Plan of Care, and report changes to the nurse, delivering compassionate Full Life Care.

Qualifications

• Florida CNA license is required.
• One to Three Years of training and/or experience; one year in long-term care strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports and carries out the organization’s mission, vision, and values on a consistent basis.
• Performs only those personal care/home maintenance activities contained in a written assignment (Hospice Aide Plan of Care) by a health professional employee.
• Recognizes and reports unusual conditions, incidents or behavior of a patient and/or patient/family interaction to the patient’s nurse or supervisory nurse.
• Recognizes the role of the Hospice Aide and works within that scope of practice at all times.
• Maintains utmost respect for confidentiality in care of the patient/family.

Tidewell Hospice, a part of Empath Health is seeking a caring and motivated CNA to work with us in Southwest Florida while providing exceptional care on the following schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p; Sarasota/Venice coverage area.

What You'll Need
