Job summary

Empath Personal Care, part of Empath Health, is seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to provide in-home care in Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, and Sarasota. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling and compassionate, patient-centered support.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health status, and report changes to the care team. Successful candidates hold a Florida CNA license, CPR, and have at least six months of healthcare experience, with ability to lift up to 50

What You’ll Do

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with daily living activities to patients in their homes.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated service.

Observe and report changes in patient condition to the appropriate clinical staff.

Travel within the assigned service area to deliver care as scheduled.

What You’ll Need

Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).

CPR certification (in-house classes available if needed).

Minimum of six (6) months of healthcare or home health experience preferred.

Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Ability to communicate effectively in English and operate a motor vehicle within the service area.

Valid Florida Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
