Job summary

Halifax Health ExpressCare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, recording fluid intake and output, and documenting care on paper and the computer.

The ideal candidate will have a Florida CNA certification on file, a High School Diploma or GED, and strong communication and interpersonal skills to support patients and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Obtain vital signs and document patient data.

• Recognize changes in patient condition and report them.
• Document patient care on flow sheets and computer.
