Job summary

Qualifications

• Education - Completion of a nursing assistant or patient care tech program.
• Certification - CNA - NCNA; current or former state CNA certification acceptable at time of hire.
• Experience - No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care and comfort services to terminally ill patients, regardless of age.
• Assists with bathing, mouth care, hair care, nails and foot care.
• Aids with dressing, ambulation, transfers and range of motion.
• Monitors vital signs and records data as designated by nurse and POC.
• Assists with elimination, meals, and nutrition.
• Performs basic housekeeping to maintain cleanliness and safety in the home.
