Qualifications
- Education: 18+ years old with HS diploma.
- Completion of CNA training and state certification required.
- Experience: 1 year in a comparable role.
- License/Certification: Driver's license and auto liability insurance; not listed in OIG Excluded Provider.
- Nurse Aide training/competency eval approved by state; nurse aide registry in good standing.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Provide mobility assistance and support transfers/positioning.
- Record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
- Assist with basic medical procedures under supervision.
- Collect specimens for labs as directed.
- Document patient condition and care in medical records.
- Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team.
