Job summary

Treasure Coast Hospice is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the interdisciplinary team in Fort Pierce, FL. You will assist in implementing and delivering clinical services to patients and families under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

The role requires Florida CNA certification, CPR/BLS, EMR proficiency, and a valid Florida driver’s license. Expect responsibilities including patient hygiene, mobility support, and safe care under the RN’s plan of care.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant from the Florida State Board of Nursing.
• Must maintain a current CPR (BLS) certification.
• Must maintain a valid Florida driver’s license.
• EMR system knowledge required.
• Must complete 12 hours of CEUs annually and company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assists in delivering clinical services to patients and families under RN supervision.
• Provides care to Treasure Coast Hospice patients as directed by the RN.
• Upholds patient visit standards and compliant documentation.
• Communicates clinical information clearly to patients, caregivers, and staff.
• Performs essential nursing tasks including transfers, hygiene, nutrition, and safety.
