Optimal Care in West Michigan is building a hospice Aide/Homemaker role to provide compassionate, in-home end-of-life care. You will support patients with daily living activities, maintain comfort and dignity, and work closely with nurses and the care team.

Available schedules include Full Time, Part Time, and Per Diem with a weekend on-call rotation. Travel within Kent County and surrounding areas is required; reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are essential.

Formación

• Completed a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training.
• Sixteen hours of classroom must be completed prior to a mandatory 16 hours of practical training.
• Must hold current certification as a nurse aide and be in good standing on the state nurse aide registry.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and valid automobile insurance coverage

Responsabilidades

• Provide hands-on care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
• Support patients at home or in facilities with daily living activities to maintain comfort and dignity.
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary care team to address each patient’s needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families to provide reassurance and compassionate care
