Job summary

Three Oaks Hospice is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team, providing in-home care to patients and families with kindness and respect. You will assist with personal care, monitor symptoms, and report observations to the supervising RN.

The ideal candidate will have a CNA license, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and at least one year of hospice or related care experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Complete state-approved nurse aide training/competency program.
• Must have CNA license.
• Must have current driver’s license.
• At least one year experience, preferred, as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, home health agency, hospice, or long-term care facility.
• Reliable transportation. Valid and current auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal healthcare and related services in the patient’s residence.
• Assist in providing a safe and clean environment, work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations with the supervisor.
• Work under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
