Job summary

Brighton Hospice is seeking a CNA for a community-based role that requires reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance. You will provide resident care under nursing supervision and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with our community organizations in patient care.
• Ability to work well within a team environment to collaborate daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and aide leadership.
• Eager to gain higher level of opportunities such as certifications and further education.
• Work closely with patients on a 1-1 level but get strong support from a patient care team; able to work independently.
• Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

• The CNA works under the Director of CNA Services to provide resident care according to assessments and care plans.
• Coordinate with licensed care staff to determine proper types of care and follow nursing policies and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure quality patient care and compliance with procedures.
