Job summary

Three Oaks Hospice is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our leading team of hospice care professionals. The CNA will provide personal healthcare and related services to patients in their homes, ensuring a safe, clean environment and collaborating with families and the supervising RN.

Applicants should have CNA certification, state-approved nurse aide training, and at least one year of hospice or nursing experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma Preferred.
Has successfully completed Nurse aide training/competency program approved by the state and listed in good standing on the state nurse aide registry; or State Licensure program that meets requirements.
Must have CNA license.
Must have current driver's license.
At least one year experience, preferred, as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, home health agency, hospice, or long-term care facility.
Reliable transportation. Valid and current auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

Primary function is to provide personal healthcare and related services to the patient in their place of residence; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment, work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations and problems with the supervisor.
Works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
