Job summary

Beacon Hospice, Amedisys seeks a compassionate hospice aide to provide personal care to patients at home across the Augusta to Boothbay area. You’ll assist with mobility, transfers, daily living tasks, and meal preparation under the plan of care.

This role requires a high school diploma, CNA certification, CPR, and a valid driver’s license. The position offers flexible scheduling, paid time off, and comprehensive benefits through Amedisys.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current state CNA certification.
• CNA experience within the last two years.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics to personal care activities such as ambulation, transfers, ROM and positioning, and homemaking.
